Swinging back to the AL East again in our Top Prospect series, now seems like as good a time as any to check in on my own St. Louis Cardinals system.  As usual, I'm posting a bare-bones list of rankings, with grades for individual players, and system commentary at the end.  It should be noted that these grades and rankings are not identical to my prospect thread in my forum, but once post editing gets restored, that thread will match this post.

System Commentary:
I'll try not to toot my own horn here too much, but I do think I have an unrivaled farm system in this league. The consensus so far this winter (based on "experts'" top 100 lists) is that I have 4 Top 20 prospects in some order, with anywhere from 6-8 in most Top 50s. I love my depth, too, as there are actually an additional three prospects I grade as C+ that aren't listed. Not everything here is perfect, as Beavan, Flowers, and Cardenas are all controversial prospects that are seen as anything between C+'s to straight B's. And, while I'm personally not in love with Allie or Nicasio, they're highly rated by most sources. Generally speaking, though, I have a group of players here that I'm personally very high on, and I don't think enough good things can be said about my system.
